Hooda thunkit? 01-sep-2006: I got excited about a great price for fujitsu 15k u320 scsi drives from discounTechnology, only to discover that they don't work in an HP 385 with Smartraid 6i controller. Happily, DiscounTechnology swapped them for Maxtors which came up just fine. 26-aug-2006: Our humble garden is now featuring this. 20-aug-2006: Caught the pear thief in the act. 23-jul-2006: Ouch -- my toe! I mean, my chest! 10-jun-2006: I think I'm turning 52. 14-apr-2006: Suzan and I spent our 10th wedding anniversary in Vancouver, BC. The weather was a bit chilly and damp, unlike our feelings for each other which are warm and sunny. 20-feb-2006: Suzan and I flew to Wilmington NC and headed south to Oak Island (the southeastern tip of the outer banks off Cape Fear) to visit her mother Mimi. Sister Helen drove from Charleston to join us, along with Mocha and Toby, and followed the next day by Steve. Seafood was consumed, dogs walked, pecans toasted, Carl's stuff moved. A good time was had by all. 12-feb-2006: Gareth Jones (who attends Stevens Elementary) went 2/2 in the 1st Annual Iwamoto 13x13 Kids Go Tournament. 9-jan-2005: Four students (Andre, Gareth, Jimmy and Kevin) participated in the first after-school meeting of the Stevens Go Club, just about wearing out this instructor. 06/18/05: solar sail spacecraft cosmos 1 set to launch: t minus 3 days and counting... 04/15/05: Suzan and I viaggiato a Italia per due settimane...divertimento grande! 01/24/05: My official AGA rating today is 9.9. If I can remember even half of what he shows me my game will improve (maybe it already has)! 11/05/04: Suzan and I drove to Richland to visit our friends Lisa, David, Audrey and Lydia (and their 2 dogs). Took a stroll on Bateman Island. Picked up a couple of tumbleweeds. Delightful road trip. 10/01/04: Harvested our first cabbage. 09/24/04: Suzan and I attended the 3rd annual Portland International Short Short film festival (aka PISS fest); I cast my 3 votes for 'Solitaire' (Theodore Collatos - Massachusetts), 'Dust' (Ryan Sigg - Oregon) and 'Judgement Call' (Robert Budreau - Ontario). We also had a fabulous time hiking Wahkeena and Multnomah Falls with Tony, Mila and Christopher. 09/08/04: My butt is sore but I don't have cancer (if you're 50 or older you know what I'm talking about). 08/21/04: No more wags. Everlovin' Cole chased a car, was hit and died.
